Designing your home can be incredibly exciting but can also be daunting. We can help guide you through the process and create a finished product that you can be proud of. Our aim is to work with you to achieve great design that is inspiring, practical and meets your needs and budget.
We are a full service architectural practice with extensive experience working on home renovations through to larger scale residential developments. Our services include:
Feasibility studies / site appraisals
We can help evaluate your site and work with you to scope out what is possible and the different directions you can take your project.
Architectural design consultation and pre-planning advice
We can work with you, both in terms of exploring design options and helping to understand planning requirements for your project. We want to help you to find the design that achieves your ambitions.
Planning applications / permitted development applications
Once we have agreed the design, we work to put together a package of drawings to apply for planning consent or to certify the proposals as permitted development as necessary.
Building control application
As well as helping you through the planning process, we can prepare the materials and drawings necessary to obtain approval from building control for your project which confirms that the project is compliant with appropriate building regulations.
Tender documentation and construction drawings
It is important to find the right contractor to work with you to build your project. We can help prepare materials for any tender process and can provide additional drawings and design information to assist with the construction process.
On-site monitoring and project management
Once a project is on site and construction is underway, we can work with you, your contractor and other consultants to make the project run as smoothly as possible. We have many years of experience managing projects through to completion and being there to deal with all aspects of the construction process.
Design team co-ordination and management
Often projects need other specialists to provide expertise. such as structural engineers for example. We can help identify any additional consultants required based on the proposed design and can manage the design team for you through the planning and construction process.
